Mosquitoes are a common pest that can be both annoying and dangerous, as they are known to transmit diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and Zika virus. To control mosquitoes, it is important to eliminate their breeding sites, which are usually stagnant water sources like buckets, flower pots, and other containers that hold water. These breeding sites should be emptied regularly or covered to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs. At Pure Solutions we offer a Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis to be place in stagnant water that cannot be drained to prevent mosquito breeding

• Eliminate standing water: Mosquitoes lay their eggs in stagnant water, so eliminate any sources of standing water near your home.
• Install screens: Make sure your windows and doors have tight-fitting screens to keep mosquitoes out.
• Use mosquito repellents: Apply mosquito repellent to your skin or clothing when you are outside, and use mosquito-repelling candles or incense when you are sitting on your porch or patio.
• Wear protective clothing: Cover up as much skin as possible with long-sleeved shirts, pants, and hats to reduce the amount of skin exposed to mosquitoes.
• Use mosquito nets: If you are sleeping in an area where mosquitoes are prevalent, use a mosquito net to protect yourself while you sleep.
• Maintain your yard: Keep your lawn trimmed and eliminate any tall grass, weeds, and bushes that can provide hiding places for mosquitoes.
• Routinely spray an all-natural solution such as Progaea TMPro on a routine bases to kill and repel mosqutioes”

Our tick and mosquito treatments both kill and repel ticks and mosquitoes. We use an EPA 25b all-natural product called Progaea TMpro. This product is exclusive to Pure Solutions and is comprised of essential oils and soap. This product kills ticks & mosquitoes on contact and provides residual protection once dry.

First, we recommend spraying mosquito treatments on your property, we mainly focus on treating shrubbery and trees on the properties we treat but also spray the lawn and gardens, avoiding flowering plants to not spray pollinators directly. Additionally, there are herbs and plants that repel mosquitoes, emptying stagnant water removes breeding grounds, and using a fan when enjoying the outdoors keeps mosquitoes at bay.
